I finally got my ordered copy of Rogue by Rachel Vincent today! (and for anyone who saw my rant - I didn't get it from Amazon.de). This is an excellent book and any fans are sure to have a copy already! Although I know some people out there haven't got their hands on a copy yet. If you want to know more about the book then you can read my review or visit Rachel Vincent's site.

Rachel Vincent was nice enough to send me a copy of 'Rogue' a couple of weeks ago and I promised to use my copy that I ordered (when it arrived) as a prize on my blog. So hereby starts the contest ;)

To enter the contest leave a comment on this thread letting me know what upcomming new release you really have to buy as soon as it comes out! There are alot of cool books coming out over the next few months and I am really interested to see if I have them all on my wishlist already ;) I am sure some readers will also be interested!

All my books are registered on Bookcrossing so there will be a small label in this book but I don't expect the winner to be a member of Bookcrossing to win.

I will leave the contest open until the 28th of April and raffleking will draw a winner!

*note to regular readers - This isn't the contest I was planning for this week with the hint word 'Breed'. Hopefully that contest will start next week.

I'll be headed to B&N on my lunch hour next Tuesday, April 29th, for The Vampire's Betrayal by Raven Hart. Figures my 15% off coupon expires April 27th. Oh well guess I'll just have to us it on another wishlist book. :P

There's a ridiculously long list of coming release that I can't wait to read, including Backup by Jim Butcher, Playing With Fire by Katie MacAlister, Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs (OMG, I'm dying to get my greedy paws on this one) and tons more which are on my Amazon Wish List.

Sigh. So many books, so little time.

I agree, so many great books to look forward to. The top two on my list are, Halfway To The Grave by Jeaniene Frost and Touching Silver by Jamie Craig.

Oh man, I totally oopsed on Jeaniene's title. I recently finished Halfway to the Grave (totally loved her writing), and can't wait to read One Foot In The Grave.

Yay! I didn't buy this one yet, so sign me up! :D

Let's see, for upcoming releases that I really want...

On Audio (stupid audible, get them available already!):

The Seduction of the Crimson Rose by Lauren Willig

Queste by Angie Sage

Brisingr by Christopher Paolini

Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer

(think I'll just go check on some of those again, since I have 2 credits to spend!)

In paperback (just can't justify spending for a hardback!):

Bloodfever by Karen Marie Moning (August 26)

Tangled Webs by Anne Bishop (no mass market date on this one that I saw yet)

Lilly, have you read the From Dead To Worse exceprt on Harris' site? It's so good! I've read it a few times and I can't wait to read the book too. :)

At 21 April 2008 at 16:28, Blogger Kimberly B.

The two really biggies for me are Wanderlust by Ann Aguirre and The Reawakened by Jeri Smith-Ready. But there are a ton of new releases (as in the past couple months) that I don't have yet (mean ol' authors, all having their books come out at the same time!), including Rogue!

At 21 April 2008 at 18:40, Blogger Unknown

I'm definitely looking forward to From Dead to Worse by Charlaine Harris.

I am so wanting to get my hands on Rouge!!! Top Book!

Of course I want Touch of Twilight by Vicki Pettersson!! The series is too awesome not to read.

And of course One foot in the Grave is also welcome!

I can go on for ages, but no I dare not. Of course Rouge works just fine you know.

The Touch of Twilight by Vicki Pettersson, which I think is due out in May. (It may not hit Aussie shores quite that early, though *sigh*)

At 22 April 2008 at 07:15, Blogger Carol

Can't wait for "Dragon Wytch" by Yasmine Galenorn, "From Dead to Worse" Charlaine Harris, any Dresden book but Rogue is at the top right now.

At 22 April 2008 at 07:20, Blogger Daelith

*does a mental head slap* I can't believe I forgot Die Smiling by Linda Ladd that comes out in August.

At 22 April 2008 at 07:39, Blogger Kel

I don't have a copy of Rogue yet, only because I haven't read Stray yet!! I know, I know, I horribly behind, but it's not the only series I need to catch up on! I'd love to win a copy of this, then maybe it would force me to read the first book. LOL

There are so many great books coming out!
Melissa Marr's Ink Exchange is available in just four days!
And Stephenie Meyer's The Host comes out May 6th...not to mention Breaking Dawn on August 2nd!
Also on May 6th is Charlaine Harris's From Dead to Worse!
(I'm really looking forward to that one!)
Lastly, it's not my favorite series, but I will be looking for the sequel to The Luxe, Rumors, on June 3rd.
My library hasn't ordered it yet so I'm really hoping to get my hands on a copy of Rogue!

Hey Amber!

I'm looking forward to 2 books coming out in August:

Bloodfever by Karen Marie Moning
and
Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon.

;)

The 5 books I'm most looking forward to are:

1. Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs
2. Scions #3 by Patrice Michelle (my apologies to Patrice I can't remember the title right now)
3. Lover Enshrined by J. R. Ward
4. Blood Noir by Laurell K Hamilton
5. Acheron by Sherilyn Kenyon

and even though it's NOT a new release I'm still trying to find a copy of Beverly Barton's Raintree: Sanctuary - book 3 in the Raintree series

At 26 April 2008 at 09:11, Anonymous Anonymous

Having recently gotten in the Signs of the Zodiac books...I'd have to say...I seriously can't wait for Touch of Twilight by Vicki Pettersson to come out...that's the one that will satisfy my 'paranormal urban/romance' mood...however...amd also really looking forward to Janet Evanovich's latest Stephanie Plum book...'Fearless Fourteen'...

I haven't actually read Stray yet (it's on the wishlist so it's not like I even have it in my shelves) but if I somehow win this one, I'm going to get my hands on Stray somehow. So, here's my request to join in on the draw.

As for what new release I'm looking forward to, there's many, but one rises above every other because it's the next book in my current favorite series: A Dance with Dragons (A Song of Ice and Fire) by George R. R. Martin. This is the new release I'm definitely most looking forward to and will buy the moment it gets out. In hardcover!
