At the same time the decomposed remains of a school teacher are found in a shallow grave, Rowan Gant has a seizure. Once again Rowan is channeling murder victims and there is nothing he can do to stop it. However his wife Felicity has other ideas and soon the roles are reversed and Rowan is forced to watch his wife go through the same seizures he usually suffers when someone is killed.

With the help of his dective friend Ben and a FBI agent named Constance, Rowan tries to put the pieces together to find out who is killing the young women and why. Although Police lieutenant Albright does not care for the help of the 'Devil worshippers' and tries to stop Rowan and Felicity from using any kind of magic to help get to the bottom of the gruesome case.

Crone's Moon is the fifth book in the Rowan Gant investigations and it was a great read. Spooky, magical and mysterious this is a mystery and thriller tied together with magick. The characters are strong and the story held me hostage until the end. There was no way I could put this down for more than a short break because I couldn't wait to see what happened next.

This book was made even more interesting because Rowan's wife played a bigger part. With her Gaelic curses and sarcastic comments I couldn't wait to see what she did next. Hopefully she will continue playing a bigger role in the future books which I can't wait to get my hands on! Just a shame they aren't so easy to get hold of here in Europe!

If you like Jim Butcher you will love M. R. Sellars!

For the last two years Rowen Grant a practicing Witch has become a part-time sleuth. With the help of his friend Detective Storm he has faced two serial killers and has almost lost his life both times.

Only three weeks ago (See 'Perfect Trust')his wife was kidnapped by a rapist who wanted her for himself. Luckily no harm came to his red haired and short tempered Irish wife but it has left him frightened and short of energy.

There is no rest for the wicked and even though Rowen isn't the bad guy the killer Eldon Andrew thinks he is. Eldon has already been on a killing spree that focused on Witches as he tries to resurrect the 15th Century Witch Hunts. However this time around he is after Rowen and he will do anything he can to get his attention.

This was as good as I expected to be. This fourth book in the Rowen Gant series had me hooked from page one and I couldn't put it down. I read this in one sitting and didn't want it to end. Sellars mixes religion and belief with a great murder plot with facts and no bias.

I love the characters and I have really started to get a feel for them. I love Rowan's wife Felicity and adore her use of Gaelic when she loses her temper. Detective Storm is a great friend and support for Rowan and I hope that somewhere in the future he gets some recognition for what he has been through. I am a little suspect about the new character Lieutenant Albright and think we will be seeing more of her in the rest of the series.

I already have the fifth book 'Crone's Moon' waiting here for me on my bookshelf and I can't wait to find the time to read it. This series is fascinating and the author has an amazing gift!

This is the 3rd book in the 'Rowan Gant Investigations' and the series just gets better and better. Of course things aren't getting better for Mr Gant who is still recovering from the last two serial killers.

In this book Rowan isn't asked to help in an investigation but he is drawn to it. He has no idea why he has appeared at the crime scene but he knows something isn't right. Getting Detective Storm to believe him is hard work but things start falling into place. Unfortunately for Rowan he doesn't know just how close to home he will find the murderer.

A great read! This series is not only thrilling but magical. With a good storyline, nice characters and a twist of Wicca this series is a must read for anyone who likes the 'Dresden Files' by Jim Butcher or 'The Women of the Otherworld' by Kelley Armstrong.

Rowan isn't happy to hear that his wife Felicity is now a freelance consultant for the local police. Taking pictures of crime scenes is something he doesn't want her doing but she is a fiery Irish woman who always wins an argument. So when Felicity gets called to her first crime scene Rowan tags along to make sure she doesn't get too involved. What he doesn't know is that she is about to get very involved.

The scene they arrive at is one of either a suicide, murder or a sex game gone too far. What makes things worse is that the victim is a judge and the FBI are on the scene. Rowan and Felicity are happy to finish the job and leave but it isn't long before they are pulled deeper into the case. It looks like they have a serial killer on their hands and to make it special all the evidence points to a female. Hopefully the lady they are looking for isn't someone they already know but as Felicity starts acting stranger and stranger nobody is sure what to think anymore.

Six books into the series and I am definitely addicted to Rowan Gant. Descriptive, realistic and surprises all the way these books really make you wonder if they are indeed Fiction. Wicca mystery and murder are always a main focus in this series but this time there is also a huge erotic factor which pulls the series in a totally new and interesting direction that I didn't see coming.

With the cliffhanger ending to this first book in the 'Miranda Trilogy' I am very tempted to read the next book All Acts of Pleasure straight away. The suspense is high and I am sure there is going to be a lot more hurt and pain in store for Mr Gant before this 'trilogy' is over and I can't wait to find out what happens next.

This was suspense all the way! Dark and mysterious this kept me on the edge of my seat (ok bed) the whole way through! I really like this murder mystery with a Wicca twist and to make it even better the characters are wonderful to read about.

I will be looking forward to the next books in this series. I would love nothing better than to just sit down and read the next one straight away. This is a great series and I am definitely going to be reading all of these books asap!

Quincey Morris and his partner, white witch Libby Chastain, don't realise that they are about to be brought together again to hunt down evil. While Quincey is going about his newest investigation he finds some jars with hearts inside and his thoughts go back to a black magic problem he helped solve not so long ago. With the FBI suddenly on his case he is forced to look into this new set of murders where organs are removed from the victims while they are still alive. A new supernatural investigation has started.

In another city, Libby is at home relaxing when some men manage to break her wards and try to kill her. She won't be the last white witch to be attacked but she maybe the only one who survives. Quincey and Libby attempt to watch each others backs while finding the answers to the many questions they are facing. Bad-ass Hannah follows them at a distance making sure they get where they are going but who is the mysterious woman? In a story that ranges from Baghdad to Los Angeles, Evil ways sees eccentric billionaire Walter Grobius attempt to unleash a devastating magical apocalypse. Which sees Libby and Qunicey drawn into their deadliest case yet.

Black Magic Woman took my breath way earlier on this year and I have been eagerly awaiting the sequel, Evil Ways. Well I am an extremely lucky person and was sent the gallery prints and what can I say? I lOVED it and it was well worth the wait!

Libby has her name up in lights with Quincey in this sequel and is now part of the series title. Both characters did what they are good at in this second part and the reader has a chance to learn just a little bit more about the amazing duo. With a special cameo appearance, a pair of shocking FBI agents and the shoot and ask questions later Hannah tagging along there was no lack of excitement in Evil Ways. Fast paced, action packed with twists and turns all the way this was like being on a roller coaster and I was way to gripped to fall off or let go.

There are only a few books that have struck me so far this year and this is one of them. If you haven't already read Black Magic Woman then go catch up because that new paranormal writer on the block has earned a fixed place and if they aren't shaking in their boots already, Jim Butcher, M.R Sellars and other prominent male paranormal Urban fantasy writers should be! Justin Gustainis has started something big and I am already enjoying the ride.

This was so good that I want to rush off and order the other books in the series! It was so good that it annoyed the hell out of me that I couldn't just take a day off work and read it all the way through in one go!

Great writing, brilliant characters and storyline! So informative and real as well as being dark! I will be looking forward to reading the rest of this series soon!
