Rowan isn't happy to hear that his wife Felicity is now a freelance consultant for the local police. Taking pictures of crime scenes is something he doesn't want her doing but she is a fiery Irish woman who always wins an argument. So when Felicity gets called to her first crime scene Rowan tags along to make sure she doesn't get too involved. What he doesn't know is that she is about to get very involved.

The scene they arrive at is one of either a suicide, murder or a sex game gone too far. What makes things worse is that the victim is a judge and the FBI are on the scene. Rowan and Felicity are happy to finish the job and leave but it isn't long before they are pulled deeper into the case. It looks like they have a serial killer on their hands and to make it special all the evidence points to a female. Hopefully the lady they are looking for isn't someone they already know but as Felicity starts acting stranger and stranger nobody is sure what to think anymore.

Six books into the series and I am definitely addicted to Rowan Gant. Descriptive, realistic and surprises all the way these books really make you wonder if they are indeed Fiction. Wicca mystery and murder are always a main focus in this series but this time there is also a huge erotic factor which pulls the series in a totally new and interesting direction that I didn't see coming.

With the cliffhanger ending to this first book in the 'Miranda Trilogy' I am very tempted to read the next book All Acts of Pleasure straight away. The suspense is high and I am sure there is going to be a lot more hurt and pain in store for Mr Gant before this 'trilogy' is over and I can't wait to find out what happens next.

At the same time the decomposed remains of a school teacher are found in a shallow grave, Rowan Gant has a seizure. Once again Rowan is channeling murder victims and there is nothing he can do to stop it. However his wife Felicity has other ideas and soon the roles are reversed and Rowan is forced to watch his wife go through the same seizures he usually suffers when someone is killed.

With the help of his dective friend Ben and a FBI agent named Constance, Rowan tries to put the pieces together to find out who is killing the young women and why. Although Police lieutenant Albright does not care for the help of the 'Devil worshippers' and tries to stop Rowan and Felicity from using any kind of magic to help get to the bottom of the gruesome case.

Crone's Moon is the fifth book in the Rowan Gant investigations and it was a great read. Spooky, magical and mysterious this is a mystery and thriller tied together with magick. The characters are strong and the story held me hostage until the end. There was no way I could put this down for more than a short break because I couldn't wait to see what happened next.

This book was made even more interesting because Rowan's wife played a bigger part. With her Gaelic curses and sarcastic comments I couldn't wait to see what she did next. Hopefully she will continue playing a bigger role in the future books which I can't wait to get my hands on! Just a shame they aren't so easy to get hold of here in Europe!
