After being blown up into little pieces the sexy vampire Eric literally rises from the ashes to get revenge. With a little help from his mates, some magic and his mustang he gets his body back and starts trying to put everything back in order. With no money, no business and an undead car things are not going to be easy. First things first though! He has to go up against one of Void City's most powerful demons to get his beloved Marilyn's soul back.

And then the hits keep coming. Eric is finding it hard to keep up with everything as he is constantly attacked from all angles. While finding out more about his past and not being able to control his future he has to suck it up and go face his worst nightmare. The Vampire High Society is definitely not Eric's scene and with his ex-girlfriend Tabitha staying with the interesting bunch of vamps he has more than one reason not to go visit.

Tabitha is finding out the hard way that the elite vampires are not all they seem to be. Going back to Eric isn't an option. He has been sleeping with her sister Rachel who was supposed to be dead. What is Rachel up to and how does she fit into all the things that have been happening lately?

The long awaited sequel to 'Staked' is due out in March and getting this ARC really did make my Christmas. Staked really made an impression on me and ReVamped has left me even more impressed and amazed. The author has not only managed to write a sequel that is as good, if not better, than the debut book but has also succeeded in building on his already unique vampire concept and keeping it unique.

Together Eric and Tabitha tell a story filled with action, wit, fun and a little romance. This story is so well written that you really never know what is going to happen next. ReVamped is a slightly dark but original vampire story which has a nice fresh taste and will leaving you craving for more. There is nothing else in the Urban Paranormal genre like this so you would be crazy not to give it a try.

Demons, vampires, mages and other paranormal delights all await the reader in Void City. So if you haven't already got Staked then get moving because otherwise you can't get ReVamped!

Author at Large, J.F Lewis, is starting things off for Halloween weekend here on Amberkatze's Book Blog! Here is his guest blog (posted by moi because Jeremy is hopefully having fun at a convention!) about the zombies under his back porch!

I'm afraid of the dark. This doesn't mean that I won't go outside at night or anything silly like that, but it does mean that *sometimes* late at night, whether I'm checking to make sure the house is locked up tight or letting the new puppy out for a walk, when the wind is howling and the moon is dark, when the leaves are rustling in the trees and the bats are flying. I am struck by the overwhelming suspicion that there may be zombies in the crawl space under my back porch, just far enough back that I won't see them until it's too late.

Weird, I know, but then again. is it so weird?

One of my favorite movies, Madadayo, is about the wonderful relationship between a teacher and his students in Japan. Every year the student visit their teacher on his birthday and ask him if he is ready to die and his response, each year, is Madadayo. In English, "Not Yet!" In one of my favorite scenes, the lights have gone out at the teacher's house and his wife calls his students. They come, light candles, and calm down their sensei. He berates them for not being afraid of the dark and goes into a wonderful tirade about how those who are *not* afraid of the dark suffer from a deplorable lack of imagination.

After all, it is not the dark that I fear, but rather, the unknown which may lurk within the dark. Darkness is not the only thing of which I'm afraid, either. My fears don't keep me from walking up my back steps and into my house (where I'll be safe from the zombies), but they do color my fiction. Now, as we near Halloween, it's natural to talk about the things that we fear, to watch spooky movies, and purposefully inflict the Shivers upon ourselves.

So, then. since I've shared one of my fears with you, why not share yours with me? Each reader willing to leave a comment about one of his or her phobias will be entered into a drawing to receive a signed copy of STAKED. So, c'mon, tell me. What are you afraid of?

Can it really be? I have time to do a Sunday Round-up?? *faints*

All hail Autumn! Cold rainy weather but great TV to stay home and snuggle up to! Some of my favourite shows are back and some new ones too! True Blood has lived up to the hype and people are enjoying it. I have had the pleasure of watching the first two episodes and did think they were good. However I think Sookie comes across as a little bit ditzy and slutty. Anyone got something to add to this?

Looking around my favourite blogs I see there isn't much for me to post that hasn't been posted already!

Although yet again my visit to Darque Reviews has left me - Adding more books to my wishlist, thinking 'haha I read that first' and saying 'hate you! I wish I had that book here now!'. Full of the upcoming releases to tempt you. I always love Darque Reviews.

Then over on The Reluctant League of Adults there is a cool contest and some even cooler posts. Also J. F. Lewis has already got the cover for Revamped (which he sent to me) but he isn't allowed to post it yet. I have to say it looks really cool and I can't wait to see what everyone else thinks about it.

The Witchy Chicks always have such interesting post over on their blog but this week the best news over there was that Yasmine Galenorn's Sisters of the Moon series will be released in audiobook format soon!

New author interview and contest coming later on today. I am off to watch Supernatural!!! *drool*
