I have been eagerly awaiting this 4th book in the 'Midnight Breed' series and it was worth the wait. If you like the 'Black Dagger Brotherhood' by J.R Ward or the 'Dark-Hunter' series by Sherrilyn Kenyon then this series is for you. With the some similarities and a whole load of new twists this is a great series that is just getting better.

In this fourth part in the series we meet Dylan a journalist who has always been able to see the ghosts of women. While on a holiday near Prague she sees a ghost of a women who leads her to a cave. In the cave she finds an old tomb and strange writing on the walls. Coming back the next day to take pictures she finds Rio. Then her life is changed completely.

Rio is one of the Breed and was supposed to be closing the cave that Dylan stumbled into. The cave that once held a monster that has already been let out...although the Breed have no idea where the monster is. When Rio realises that Dylan has already sent photos of the cave out to friends, family and work he makes it his mission to get rid of the evidence by taking Dylan with him to Germany.

This fast paced read is beautifully written and I love the characters. The storyline was good with lots of twists and turns that kept me hooked until the end. There is passion and mystery in this slightly dark work of fiction that has alot of edge.

'Veil of Midnight' book #5 in this series is due out in December and I am back to waiting again ;)
