Personal Demon is the 8th book in the 'Women of the Otherworld' series and this time Hope Adams is the main character. Anyone who has been following this series knows Hope Adams from the previous books. She is a tabloid journalist and half demon who has inherited a hunger for chaos from her father.

In this new addition to the series we see Hope going undercover for Benicio Cortez. He has some problems with a small gang of supernaturals and wants her to check things out. Things seem simple at first but then Hope realises that she has stumbled into something a little more complicated than a simple job gathering information.

Of course this was a great read like every other book in this series. However I have to admit that Hope isn't my favourite character. I also don't like Karl very much so it was quite annoying that they both played such a big part in this story. What I found refreshing was the chapters written from Lucas Cortez's (Paige's husband) point of view.

If you are a fan of this series get hold of this book soon and devour it! If you haven't even tried this series yet then go find 'Bitten' and get hooked ;)

Oh and if you are lucky enough, like myself, to order this book from the UK you get the nice cover as shown and not the US trashy looking one.
