Turned unwillingly into a vampire, Maya Black, an ex-cop, has used her extra strength and abilities to hunt down the evil on the streets. With a reputation as a vampire hunter and demon killer she is well known and feared by many. So when a man named Adam comes to her asking for help, mentioning a vampire she wouldn't mind staking and offering money and blood as payment she can't refuse.

There is something different about Adam Brody and it isn't just his good looks. He isn't human but Maya isn't sure what he is. All she knows is that his young niece doesn't have long to live in the hands of the vampires who have kidnapped her. Using all her contacts, however dangerous, she sets off with Adam on the hunt to find Cammie before her blood is used to awake an evil that has been sleeping and waiting to come back to life and cause havoc.

After a few chapters of Immortal Danger I found it hard to put the book down. With the exact balance of action and romantic suspense I like, this made for great reading. An enticing story made up of all manner of paranormal creatures there is never a dull moment in this story of revenge and love.

Great characters and a well written plot is obviously high up on this authors to do list when writing. Intriguing and interesting all the way through there is something for every paranormal reader, especially ones who like something a little different and unusual. Hot sexy scenes and powerful action fill this book to the brim and it has made sure that more Cynthia Eden books are going on my wishlist.

This is a fun read - I pulled a all nighter on this - you never know when you will find one that keeps you up during the night - this was one for me.
