Claire Weiss died nine years ago and it really laid her and her plans to rest. Now she has the chance to be reanimated and go back to Earth for a day and if she is lucky she can extend her stay to nine whole days. She already has the paperwork filled in and has decided what she wants to do with her time back with the living. First she has to find handsome Jake and get it on with him, then she has to do a good deed and finally she has to find out who killed her and why. With only nine days to spare, Claire has no time for messing around with a guy because she can only reanimate once every ten years.

The gorgeous Jake Faron is always in the same bar every Thursday night. So when Claire and him finally hook up they are both happy. However Claire is a little suspicious of Jake. Why doesn't he have his own place? Why doesn't he have any money or have his cool Hummer? Questions aside, Claire is having the best sex ever and has fallen in love. Now she has to do everything she wanted to do and also break Jake's heart...or maybe his heart is already broken?

I thought Sex and the Single Ghost was going to be very cheesy but it was actually alot of fun. I have to say I figured out quite a bit of the story quite easily but I didn't realise why Claire had died until the end. Quite steamy in places this book is a ghostly paranormal with alot of romance and a twist of mystery. A little chick-lit like but quite original I will be checking out more books by this author.
