As Roe starts asking questions then things start happening. She finds herself with 2 lodgers and also begins to argue with her husband about who he really is and what he really does. Will it be newlywed bliss for Roe? or will she get hurt?
'The Julius House' is the fourth book in the Aurora Teagarden series was the best yet! I loved the new characters Angel and Selby even though they seemed a little weird at first. The whole plot was thrilling and I really didn't guess what had really happened until the end.
In this book I really felt like I knew Roe and could understand her. In the previous books she seemed like a stranger to me and I couldn't relate to her in anyway at all. She seemed alot more human this time around and I think it had alot to do with her problems with husband, Martin.
I now have to wait till August for the next book in the series 'Dead Over Heels' and I can't believe the next book after that, 'A Fool and His Honey', won't be out till February! A great series that any Harris fan will love and any cozy mystery reader will enjoy.

@ Ladytink - Austrian Libraries do stock some English books but they definitely don't have anything like this. They stick to the safe Stephen King, James Patterson and Nora Roberts type books.
@ Jackie - It is weird that they both have books with the same title. Seeing as this series is being re-released (they were written back in the 90's I think) you would think that somebody would have said 'Hey MaryJ do a different title! Harris already has that one covered!'

Thinking about the series so far I think 'Dead over Heels' may seem a little strange without reading the other books in the series.
Of course Harris does a good job of keeping the reader up to date with what happened before but I think you would miss how much the main character has grown since the first book and what she has gone through.
You could always send me the book and I can review it for you ;)

It's been a while, but i finally managed to update myself with the newest on your blog. Disappearing can be so much trouble, when you come back and try to settle in back in your routine.
Bravo and all stars for this excellent review. Although I prefer reviews long and explanatory, yours manage to perk me up with few very well written sentences. What joy! You do great in the short review category.
I haven't really read anything else by Charlaine Harris. I really enjoy her Southern Vampire Mysteries series...are these just as good?
Question, you do realize Dead Over Heels is a collection of novellas involving her paranormal characters, right? It's not out already over there?
