You know, I've never heard of Bite Me magazine until your post. Is it something that is available at BN or Borders or strictly online?

My favorite book vampire? I would have to say it would be Bones from J. Frost's Night Huntress series. That could also be due to the fact that I just read her novel last week and LOVED it. Ask me again in a couple of weeks and it'll probably be Damien, from the Anita series (LK Hamilton). Then again, the new Southern Vampire Mystery novel is out and I'm sure Eric Northman is going to be involved.

Do I have to choose only one?

I don't know that I have a favorite ~ so I'll go with the vampire from the last book I read: Edward from the TWILIGHT series.

Edward from the Meyer series is my favorite also.

I think it has to be a tie between Eric from the Southern Vampire series and Edward from the Twilight Saga.

My favorite book vampire would be Zsadist from the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. *drool*

Amber: you were so kind to me (and said so many nice things about BLACK MAGIC WOMAN) that I thought I'd stick around the neighborhood.
My favorite book vampire? Got to be the Man Himself, the one, the only Count Dracula.

Hi Amber, I'm still so excited for you! That must be really cool. Are you going to be doing reviews for them regularily now? Sending you a big high five from Canada!

Fave vampires recently include Dante from A Rush Of Wings, Jeaniene Frost's Bones, and Angel from Buffy.

Oh gosh Amber, this is really a hard one since there are so many lucious vamps out there. Hmm.....I think I would have to choose Bones even though Eric does come in a close second. Oh heck, can I have both? LOL! YUMM!

Definitely Jeaniene Frost's BONES. He reminds me so much of Spike from BtVS. *swoon* Chapter 32! *thud* ;)

You know your Current Moon section? It said "Waxing Gibbous", but I read it as "Waxing Gibbons". Silly me ;-)

Dr Carrie Ames from Jennifer Armintrout's Blood Ties series.

Have a lovely day! :-)

Hmmm everyone picked guys so far...maybe I should have thought a little more about my choice.

Ok Female vamp is still Betsy but as for the guys....hmmm....Eric.

My favorite book vampire huh? Oh there are just so many! The one that pops to mind is Eric from Charlaine Harris Sookie Stackhouse series. I really like him (and so does everyone else apparently). But I also like Rhage (Zsadist is second place) from J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I can't chooose!!!!

I happen to have two favorite vamps and they are Zarek from Sherrilyn Kenyon's Darkhunter series and Zsadist from J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood.

Oh man, I'm so far behind on all the ones most others have read, but honestly, I have to say, Louis and Lestat from Anne Rice are my fave book vampires, because they were really my first, and you never forget your first, right? ;)

Mine would have to be Ash from the Dark-Hunter series! Looking forward to his book coming soon.

I'd have to pick an old-school book vampire and say Dracula. I'm a Victorian buff.

I love the Night Pleasures from Sherrilyn Kenyon!

Mine would have to be Anne Rice's eternal child, Claudia, who begged for a real vampire doll.

That's a hard question! Lestat, probably. Who can resist the Brat Prince? Right now I'm really fond of Conrad Wroth from Kresley Cole's series.

This is such a tough question because there are a few I really like, but Bones (J. Frost) comes out on top. Eric (C. Harris) and Kisten (K. Harrison) are right up there though, along with a few others. :)

I would have to say Edward from the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer.
But I still like Angel.Thanks

Congrats on the reviews, Amber!

I'm afraid I haven't read very many vampire stories, but I'm trying to branch out. I was very fond of Armand when I was in high school, I remember. I think my favorite portrayal of a vampire (not a likeable character by any means, but deliciously creative) was Snow White from a Neil Gaiman short story "Snow, Glass, Apples." Listened to an audio dramatization of that one while driving through the woods alone in the dark, which is something I really wouldn't recommend.

I'm going to have to go with an oldie and say Lestat. He'll always be my favorite. Looks like an interesting magazine, though. I'd really like to try it out.

Totally into Edward from the Twilight series at the moment. Waiting for a friend to finish the third book!

If I win will you autograph it?

I'm so proud of you!

See you on bookcrossing.

I really enjoy Betsy from Mary's series too. I also loved Jeri Smith-Ready's grunge vamp, Shane, in her new release WICKED GAME.

Congrats, btw, on getting your reviews in the magazine. How exciting. Here's to tossing my name in the hat.

Cheers!
