This second book in the 'Dream Hunter' series confused me at first. I picked up the book and thought it was thin. I checked inside and saw the font was quite large. Then I saw the story was only about 240 pages long. I felt cheated!
However the story was brilliant and long or short this author writes a brilliant novel! This had everything I have come to expect from Mrs Kenyon and I was impressed. I loved the 'Dexter' references but found it weird that a goddess who has been asleep for 2,000 years knew about this cool TV series!
At the end of the book there were a few pages of teasers called 'Holiday Gatherings'. Nothing impressive and I felt weird reading about Christmas already ;)
If you are a fan don't miss this one.

I'm so excited! I am getting this one tomorrow or the next day, and now I KNOW I'll like it! Weeeeeee!
haha! I agree with all the points you wrote about the author. The only thing I don't have an opinion on is Dexter, because I haven't seen the show. I was *trying* not to add more TV to my already overfilled schedule!! See what you did??? :P
hugs,
