I enjoyed this second part in the series just as much as the first part. This is a fun cosy crime series with a slight twist of fashion. However the main story is crime and Maddie keeps finding it. She reminds me a little of Stephanie Plum in a way and the author has me laughing like Janet Evanovich does.

In this book Maddie gets a strange call from her dad. Her dad that she has never seen because he ran off with a showgirl called Lola. Maddie takes off to Vegas and ends up in the middle of everything. Oh and the gorgeous Ramirez is bossing her about and she has a stalker.

Action packed fun that Evanovich fans should read! This is a nice mix of chick-lit and mystery with enjoyable characters which will leave you wanting more!
